Tea Dance Tunes Dementia Friendly Concerts

Tea Dance Tunes Dementia Friendly Concerts sponsored by Dublin City Council will take place in the National Concert Hall on the following dates

3rd August 2016 – 2pm
15th August 2016 – 2pm
19th September 2016 – 2pm
Date to be decided for December 2016

These four concerts are a joint initiative with Dublin City Council’s North Central Area and the National Concert Hall and are as a result of a motion I put down at City Council.

I will be launching the inaugural Tea Dance Tune event on behalf of the Lord Mayor at 1pm on the 3rd of August in the National Concert Hall.

We invite people living with dementia, their carers and families to enjoy a concert of favourite songs and music.
Vocalist Liz Ryan will be joined by Andrew Synnott on piano and a special guest, Gerry Noonan, to perform popular ballads, songs from musicals and some light opera, with audiences encouraged to join in, sing along and dance.
Join us for some light refreshments while enjoying the music and company!
